- What is the difference between the traditional tickets and the electronic tickets of Mocom issued by coded e-mail or coded SMS to your e-mail account, your PDA/Smartphone or your mobile phone?
Both types of tickets give you the same access rights and they contain the same information about the event.
However, the Mocom-Tickets have the following advantages:
° No travelling in order to buy or pick-up your tickets ° Guaranteed delivery of the Mocom-Ticket ° No shipping fees ° Mocom-Tickets can be bought at any time, day or night ° Very convenient purchasing process ° It?s impossible to lose a Mocom-Ticket (database trace) ° Access to the event is very practical and fast °Possibility to refund promptly your money in case of a postponement or cancellation of an event (in accordance to the event promoter?s conditions)
- Can Mocom-Tickets be distributed via coded SMS using all telecommunication networks and every mobile phone operator?
Yes, because the distribution of Mocom-Ticket by coded SMS is not dependent on the telecommunication network or on the mobile phone operator.
- Can my mobile phone receive a Mocom-Ticket by coded SMS ?
If your mobile phone can receive or send an SMS with images or logos it can also receive a Mocom-Ticket via coded SMS. Click here to see more information.
- Can I receive Mocom-Tickets by coded SMS even if I am not customer of a Luxembourg-based mobile phone operator?
Yes. The distribution of Mocom-Ticket by coded SMS works throughout Europe and in most other countries worldwide.
- How do I buy a Mocom-Ticket?
First, you select the event, which you want to attend and which is integrated into our service. Next, you fill out the purchasing form, which requires some of your personal data, which you can access anytime with by using your user name (your email address or a name of your choice) and your password (of your choice). So you eliminate the need to fill out this form for future purchases. Then, you are also able to consult your past purchases and print out a coulor ticket with a photo by logging on.
You then choose one of the available payment methods and you follow the required steps for the method selected. Immediately after the online approval of the payment, Mocom will automatically create a unique code, which represents your event entrance ticket (your personal Mocom-Ticket), which will be sent to your mobile phone or PDA/Smartphone or your e-mail account.
- What methods of payment are offered by Mocom?
a) Credit cards (VISA or MASTERCARD)
Mocom uses the encrypted protocol SSL/https of CETREL. This way, your payment transaction is secured using the highest standards currently available.
Advantages:
+ Approval of the payment is executed within one minute and you will receive your Mocom-Ticket a few minutes afterwards. + Purchase of any Mocom-Ticket via the Internet is possible up to 2 hours before the start of the event.
b) Web-Banking
If you select this method of payment, Mocom connects you to the initial Web-Banking screen of your Bank.
Advantages:
+ No need to have a credit card. + No need to use your credit card on the Internet. + Ordering and payment becomes possible from your computer; thus, no need to travel.
Please note :
- Your Mocom-Ticket is reserved for 2 working days. You must complete the transaction within this time; if not, your reservation of the Mocom-Ticket will be cancelled. - The Mocom-Ticket will be sent within 2 working days of your payment. Please bear in mind that you must order your Mocom-Ticket(s) at least 4 calendar days before the day of the event, otherwise this payment method will be inactive.
c) Bank transfer
The service Mocom-Ticket of Mocom proposes to you to create a fully filled out bank transfer form. You only have to print it, sign it and send it by Fax or mail to your bank or deposit it at the bank?s letter-box.
Advantages:
+ No need to have a credit card + No need to use your credit card on the Internet + No need to open a Web-banking account
Please note :
- Procedure takes longer if you do not have a fax - Your ticket is reserved during 4 working days. Afterwards, your reservation of the ticket will be cancelled. Reception of the Mocom-Ticket can take up to 3 working days after the payment. Please bear in mind that you must order your Mocom-Ticket(s) at least 9 calendar days before the day of the event, otherwise this payment method will be inactive.
- Is it possible to have my Mocom-Ticket(s) refunded?
No, tickets cannot be refunded, but they can be transferred, provided that one cannot attend oneself the event.
If an event is postponed or cancelled, the event promoter decides about the refunding conditions. Mocom cannot be made responsible for refunding entry tickets. Consider that only the ticket price without the presale taxes are refunded.
- Do I need to print the Mocom-Ticket?
No, once that you have received your Mocom-Ticket by coded SMS or e-mail on your mobile phone or PDA/Smartphone you save it and you come to the event with it where it will be scanned at the entrance.
If you received your Mocom-Ticket on your e-mail account, print out the e-mail, which will be scanned at the entrance. The same procedure is kept for the "Print at Home"-Tickets.
- How long does it take to receive the Mocom-Ticket(s) after purchasing it?
The Mocom-Ticket is sent immediately after the reception of the approval of the payment. The time between the ordering and the reception of the Mocom-Ticket(s) depends on the payment method. If you pay by credit card, you will receive your Mocom-Ticket(s) within a few minutes. If you pay by Web-Banking, you will receive your Mocom-Ticket(s) within 2 working days after your payment. If you pay by Bank transfer, you will receive your Mocom-Ticket(s) within 3 working days after your payment.
- What can I do if the Mocom-Ticket does not arrive as mentioned under point 9?
If your Mocom-Ticket(s) does or do not arrive within the time mentioned under point 9), send an email with the number codes (at the end of the message for SMS or below the barcode for e-mails) of the received tickets and mention how many Mocom-Tickets are missing, to support(at)mocom.lu our customer care, who will analyze and solve the problem.
- What can I do if I accidentally delete my Mocom-Ticket from my mobile phone?
If you delete your Mocom-Ticket(s) accidentally, contact our customer care by email support(at)mocom.lu , who will once again send the same code to your mobile phone.
- What can I do if my mobile phone on which I have saved the Mocom-Ticket(s) is lost or stolen?
If your mobile phone containing your Mocom-Ticket(s) is lost or stolen, contact our customer care by email support(at)mocom.lu , who will cancel the code in our database and send another code on your new mobile.
- What happens if the scanning device at the entry to the event cannot read my Mocom-Ticket(s)?
All Mocom-Tickets are numbered. In case the code cannot be read by the scanner, the controller enters this number manually and the authenticity test is executed based on this number.
- Can I receive more than one Mocom-Ticket on my mobile phone?
Yes, you can receive up to 6 Mocom-Tickets on the same mobile phone, provided that the remaining memory is sufficient! (1 Mocom-Ticket = 2 regular SMS) If you face any problems with your residual memory on your mobile, contact our customer care. We recommend you distribute several tickets on several mobile phones.
- Is it possible to buy an Mocom-Ticket (for example, as a gift) for a third party?
Yes. You only have to enter the number of the receiving mobile phone, its brand in the ordering process or the destination e-mail address. If you buy for example 5 tickets, you can send the 5 tickets from 1 to 5 mobile phones or e-mail addresses.
Another possibility to give away tickets is to buy them on your own account and then you log on and click on "My past purchases". Finally, you click on the right hand symbol, which offers you the option to send single tickets by e-mail as a gift. This way, you define the moment to send the gift ticket, although you may have bought it months in advance.
- What is the procedure to access the event?
You come to the event, present your mobile phone with your Mocom-Ticket(s) on it or your print out, and a scanner near the entrance reads the Mocom-Ticket(s) and executes an authenticity check.
- Can I reserve a specific seat?
In general, yes. The event promoter decides whether there are various price categories and whether there are numbered seats. In this case, you can, during the purchase procedure, choose your category and your seat. These data will be integrated into the Mocom-Ticket(s).
- Are there additional expenses on top of the price indicated on the Mocom website ?
NO, the prices mentioned on the Mocom website include all the fees, such as the sales and distribution fees on your mobile phone, as well as the bank transfer fees and the VAT.
- What is the procedure in the case of a postponement or cancellation of an event?
As your personal data are saved to create the code(s) for the Mocom-Ticket(s), Mocom is able to inform you of any change of the event, provided that the event promoter informs us about any changes and instructs us to inform the customers.
